Beatrix Potter would be great. She could easily pick Jemima Puddleduck in goal, Flopsy and Mopsy at the centre of defence, Squirrel Nutkin the midfield destroyer and Mrs Tiggy-winkle as the next Haaland upgrade ….. who would notice the difference with the current lot though?

Jemima or Onana in goal? That's a tricky choice. Same for Squirrel or Casemiro in midfield. And for Flopsy or Greece's favourite English CB.

Oh, you doom and gloomers! Have faith in him. He's doing so well on such a limited budget they should extend his contract. If he was given a further billion for the transfer kitty I'm convinced he'd keep them out of relegation on goal difference.
