To paraphrase the Irish travellers in Manchester thread in off topic, is the dog abuser offering to tarmac it, badly?
So instead of raiding Ajax, the tactic will switch to raiding SL?What’s the bet they raid Sporting Lisbon which would then beg the question what was the point of Ashworth.
After all the plastic wankers were wanking themselves silly about a poor run of results for a club they're apparently not bothered about.I see slimy Simon has tempered his expectations after just one game..... Before the game they were going to win everything including the Tour de France... after the game the manager's going to need a lot of time.
He's a shit house , easy to offer someone to go to the carpark while security's separating you. If he was up for it would have piled into the guy there and then. Soft arse red bastard.
Haha, Bodo Glimt. Sounds like something from The Hobbit. After all the plastic wankers were wanking themselves silly about a poor run of results for a club they're apparently not bothered about.
For any lurking Rags wankers, just a reminder that you're TWELFTH in the league and playing Bodo Glimt on Thursday night.
As you were Raggies.
They've got seven months to prepare for next year's Tour. They must be in with a chance.I see slimy Simon has tempered his expectations after just one game..... Just like the last idiot raided his former clubWhat’s the bet they raid Sporting Lisbon which would then beg the question what was the point of Ashworth.
United have Bruno Bobbins.Haha, Bodo Glimt. Sounds like something from The Hobbit.

Another reason for getting players from your old club is to surround yourself with friends and allies - but unfortunately footballers are not renowned for their loyalty to anything except money.I want to make it clear that in no way defending this approach when managers come to a new club.
The point is that an incoming manager will often choose to go back to the old club, because he knows about the capabilities of the player - absolutely no fucking idea why Ten Haag thought that Anthony would be a success if he knew anything about his temperament and personality !
The bigger criticism is because whilst the above may be the case, they and the recruitment team, must fail to see is that the payer may not adapt to a new and stronger league or the players he is being asked to settle in with.
Poor scouting, player research etc becomes the fly in the ointment, and the rags have plenty of shit experiences to suggest that their whole set-up is a shambles.
I know it’s a long time ago, but that is exactly what Kendall did, when he came to City.I want to make it clear that in no way defending this approach when managers come to a new club.

Reid, Pointon, Harper, Heath and Clarke all followed Howard to City, with varying degrees of success.
On the flip side to Kendall and ten Bob, none of Bobby, Pellers and Pep went back to former clubs, because their knowledge of the game and players was much more comprehensive. Fernandinho arriving from Shakhtar is a prime example. Very few people knew about him, but Manuel did.Oh I accept it can work but I suspect a lot depends upon the manager in question.
Howard Kendall might have actually known those player, whereas Ten Haag clearly didn't know much about his signings, except perhaps that they were dutch ?
