I agree with the last paragraph. I had a manc rag arguing on YouTube when I posted the same. He argued that Trafford is in Manchester as much as Didsbury is. I kept saying Trafford is in Greater Manchester, Didsbury is in Manchester.
In the end he got me confused !

I was doing some research on 1977 not football related.
I had long forgotten they were actually banned from Europe that year following violence at St Etienne away.
They were reinstated following an appeal (plus ca change) before Porto banned them in the next round.
