This just demonstrates the whole philosophy which surrounds the rancid club, fully endorsed and encouraged by a pathetic and shallow media.

Even the most normal and regular events for every other club, are hyped to ridiculous and banal levels in order to attract the interest of their needy and pathetic "supporters".

They are a brand, no more no less, and are shamelessly monetised at every opportunity.

Their actual current football achievements only deserve derison, when considered against the standards of many of the other PL teams.

And for what they’ve spent to achieve those returns.
