Was listening to talksport (I know) and Emmanuele Petit was on. For some bizarre reason he was asked what he thought of Amorim and his impact on utd. He basically said Amorim has taken utd backwards and will be gone in 18 months.
 
They are like the football media equivalent of The Twang if the year was still 2007….

They are a band from Birmingham who were the media darlings of “new bands”, hyped up to the hilt and were utterly shit and still are. I saw them supporting Shed Seven before lockdown in Liverpool and were bottled off.

Then you get the rags, a football team from Manchester who are the media darlings of the football industry, hyped to the hilt because of their history, not the state they are in today and are still utterly shit.

Have to say l thought the rags were playing a CL quarter final against prime Barca tonight not a bottom table clash with Southampton given the media coverage. It’s absolutely sickening the bias toward that shower get.

But who do they think they will be able to entice, that are going to be better than these three?

And how much does he think they'll be able to spend?

Selling probably the better players in the squad in a fire sale leaves the only other decent player as Fernandes, possibly Dalot, but that's pushing it.

Garnacho and Mainoo??? Surprised as Mainoo was definitely bigged up, especially by Engerland fans. Commentators love Garnacho as well - very positive player, always drives at defences etc, etc. I would say Rashford was a busted flush, but at best he was a pair of 2s.
