He's not going to be the big I am at Villa, or he shouldn't be. Maybe Villa need pace up front and the Rags have got rid of a big thorn in their side (yes, I did sing the Eurythmics tune as I typed that).

Villa are just taking a punt if this goes through. They're taking him on the back of newspaper and social media hyperbole. I hope it goes wrong for them, Sir Findus Krispy and the Rags.

I see that Amorim telling everyone he can’t even get to training didn’t help them sell him!

Good move by Villa, they don’t really need him, but he can come on for Watkins to save his legs a bit, and if he actually shows signs of life I’m sure they’ll have worked out a sweetheart buy option.
Its not a good move for villa.
Even if the rags cover 75%of his wages they'll still be paying him 100 grand a week to do fuck all

They’re desperate to save the rags some face and make it seem like a good deal for them

‘Villa covering a significant portion of wages’ rather than ‘United paying him to play for someone else’
It's exactly that. The Rags are paying to play for a other team.

Rashford to Villa is a good deal all round. He will probably start scoring for Unai Emery, because he has something to prove.

But he also had to leave, because Amorin can't decorate his house with a dead elephant in the way.
