The rags have got 6 home games & 8 away games left to play;-

The home games - Ipswich, Arsenal, City, Wolves, WHU & Villa (last day)

The away games are - Spurs, Everton, Leicester, Forest, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Brentford & Chelsea

Those away games look pretty tricky even the Leicester one if both teams are fighting for survival.

In the home games to Arsenal, us (if we get our act together) and Villa they'll be lucky to get 4 points and two of the other home games Wolves & WHU are teams that seem to be beating them at OT at the moment, in fact you wouldn't rule out Ipswich getting a point.

Look, we know they're not getting relegated but it's not beyond the imagination, one can only hope.
A little less charity and they'd be right in the shit.

They all keep going on about City spending, even the £100 million for Jack Grealish from Villa
Well Manchester City can justify our spending because we have an end product that produces success and prize money, Then they say, well at least it's our own money ? so how come you are £1.5billon in debt. well it's the Glazers debt

How funny is it that United can not even sell players because nobody wants your mistakes or your golden youth players and still pay their wages at other clubs, The so-called biggest club in the world and media darlings can do no wrong and are a model club to inspire and look up to

Are we seeing the start of a real decline for them

I know they’ve been a laughing stock for over a decade but even in that time they’ve won a few trophies , which is scant reward for the money they’ve spent

They are now in the territory of having to sell before they can buy , with limited saleable assets to fund any new purchases

They need a massive rebuild if they are throwing their lot behind the latest manager.

But with every season they are out of Europe, means less revenue to put towards this rebuild

They could be trapped in lower mid table for the foreseeable

In any other era they would have already been relegated but their enormous spending has insulated them from this fate

Just look at the players they are seriously linked with now, loans for other teams flops, punts on young players that have been performing for small clubs. It’s only two years ago they were linked with signing Harry Kane

I think next season could be a car crash , can’t wait
PSR rules will be scrapped, they weren't designed for united to fail them, the silly pricks who think the Qatar guy is the answer to their dreams haven't worked out yet that Newcastle would have already done it with the wealth they have. Winning major trophies, CL and allied TV revenue is where the real money is. Matchday revenue is way down on all top clubs revenue streams, you average rag thinks that every replica shirt bought goes straight into the coffers at old toilet. Its why they assume all of our revenue is bent.
Broadcast & TV £294m
Matchday £75m
Commercial £344m

Even if £100m of our commercial revenue is "bent" we would still have the same revenue as united.

Anyway, there isn't a cat in hells chance united will fail PSR, they will wriggle out of it, their latest excuse will be spending money on the exploration of developing old trafford-pretty much how Liverpool got away with sanctions years ago.

I think they should install Peter Ridsdale as chairman.

It's unbelievable how they still attract over 70k to the circus which in all honesty we couldn't do.
The cracks are starting to appear, thousands of Rangers fans in every corner of the stadium the other week, don't be fooled by their official attendance figures, the tv cameras never ever pan up to the top of their stands. The whole fucking club is a myth.

There has always been something a bit sinister and not quite right with how the press totally ignore anything negative about the club, without question they curry favour with departments of media companies, no doubt some sort of financial gain. You only have to examine Simon Stones as an example, its biased beyond belief-and its always been there even before the takeover. The whole reporting of both Manchester clubs from the BBC sport department is an absolute disgrace. Then you have Gary Neville , Wio et all constantly sticking the boot in. Then you have Keane, Scholes doing regular fan podcasts etc.
You can bet your bottom dollar there will never be any ex City player who gets those gigs in the future, you know, the team of the last decade , players who have smashed every record.
Ill wager that most, if not all of the football sport editors at the BBC are united fans.
Joleon is on TNT for our games regularly.

Joe Hart is on the BBC a fair bit, so it’s coming, albeit slowly.

They need champions league for the money and to attract any sort of decent player without actually paying obscene wages, their only hope is to win the Europa league and knowing the luck they have they’ll somehow somehow stumble to win it I just wouldn’t be surprised at all..
God willing that doesnt happen as theyll be deeper in the shit than they already are
