I don't want them relegated. I loved it and celebrated in 1974 when Denis did the business.
All that happened was they steamed back into the First Division straight away.
I'd rather they come a couple of places above relegation for 3 or 4 years. Slowly dying, the financial support through sponsorship drying up, fans pissed off, no new stadium and no rebuild.

And then the wankers get relegated.
Absolutely bang on. I want them getting beat by Palace and Brighton and Everton and West Ham year on year. If they go down they'd be the fucking big I am again and they'd be on Sky every week. You can 100% guarantee they'd get onto motd - don't kid yourself, they'd find a way to get them on.

Cunts.

The last bit sounds like us under Swales

They all keep going on about City spending, even the £100 million for Jack Grealish from Villa
Well Manchester City can justify our spending because we have an end product that produces success and prize money, Then they say, well at least it's our own money ? so how come you are £1.5billon in debt. well it's the Glazers debt

How funny is it that United can not even sell players because nobody wants your mistakes or your golden youth players and still pay their wages at other clubs, The so-called biggest club in the world and media darlings can do no wrong and are a model club to inspire and look up to
If someone, a rag, goes on about us spending just ask them to Google Romelu Lukaku. Or to save them the trouble.......
In 2017, 8 years ago, they bought him for 75 million pounds.

Manchester United Update

Shaw in line for new contract despite long term absence.

A Sky Sports source understands that Luke Shaw, the injury plagued left back, is still in line to receive the offer of a new contract.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has apparently approved the offer on a “pie as you play” basis.
There will always be a roll for him at United. A sausage roll that is

Genuinely saw a post on the Caf where someone was lamenting the days of the GPC when they achieved so much with so little.

Rewriting history.

This post has given me a hard on that could drive a donkey though a sand pit

Well said and well thought out,

Veron - 2001 for 28.1M
Ferdinand - 2002 for 30M

24 years and 23 years ago respectively
From memory I seem to recall the Ferdinand deal being agreed for more. Howvwer, due to Leeds troubled financial position at the time as the backs were foreclosing on a regular basis so it seemed, United were able to exploit their position on a number of occasions by offering a lesser instalment paid before its due date.
