There's a snip of video on the BBC website mentioning a new angle on the Leno pen save. Yer see next to fuck all of the save but the Rag who took the kick sinking to the ground and then another Rag coming over to offer some form of commiseration. The Beeb have been well 'n truly fucked over this week. One thing's certain, they won't be able to follow the Rags and have 'em first pick for a telly slot next round.

The circling of the drain, took another loop closer last night.

History is littered with companies that were monopolistic, monolithic behemoths… that then didn’t adapt, change… because they thought the gravy train would last forever.
A most recent example is Intel… they had dominated the world of PC chips, but now they are staggering about, reeling from the continuing rise of longterm rival minnows AMD, and newer upstarts using ARM design chips.
Exactly, people say that the rags are too big to go down or fade away into obscurity.

I often reply by saying: "anyone remember Debenham's?"

PanAm.

Another behemoth that didn’t adapt.
Pan Am were quite progressive they specified the 747 their problem was they were an international airline with no domestic routes

Nokia were the leaders in phones until Apple came along they sold their business to Microsoft who made an arse of their smart phone

I still don’t understand how a grown man has a voice like that, the only explanation is this g string is too tight
I reckon it’s filling the bottom shelves at home and bargains , that’s where I last saw him working , the snipe one in Ashton , bending down too low at a certain age puts a lot of pressure on your scrotum and bladder , especially with the overhang he has , probably putting the united gifts out of plain sight and reachable for children.
Fucking plank.

It’s mad as not all bad managers and not all bad players.

Something is really bad that there and seems to have got worse since INEOS have took over.

If I was a player and they wanted me, it’s a big decision, only Fernandes has enhanced his reputation since being there (and yes I agree he is a C U Next Tuesday but the move probably worked for him).

I struggle to see where they go from here.

The way the league is currently set up the promoted teams will pretty much always take 2 or 3 of the relegation spots, so I don’t see them going down.

I think teams such as Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford, Forest etc. have a better or at least comparable team and I don’t consider it to be a shock when they lose.

The balancing off the books is a real issue and it’s interesting to see exactly how they manage that with hopefully European football for at least a couple of seasons.

There only hope is big contracts coming to an end and the money invested on young players with potential.

The club needs a reality check as to where they are and forget all about being back at the top for awhile. There main task is to turn the tide…

However, INEOS have project 21 and the manager is talking about winning the Prem, so more failings will happen as they will not be able to achieve this in the short term.

It’s took a lot of wrong decisions to get them here, now it’s going to need a lot of right ones (made by the same people who made the wrong ones to get them back).

They are really good examples of a ‘brand’ that is well known, did really well… and then got completely complacent and made really bad business decisions, whilst in a dominant position.

The fall is not swift… it’s gradual and then becomes a snowball down a mountain, gathering pace, becoming more and more unstoppable and set on path that can’t be changed.

United is about 1/3 of the way down the mountain and it’s gathering pace.

Even at this catastrophic low ebb, they are still filling the stadium??

But things could change soon. At the end of this month, the club will start contacting season ticket holders about signing up for next season, and it has been strongly rumoured that scruffy Jim is going to whack the prices up.

This could be the final straw that breaks the camels back.
