You can see how attractive we must have been to our owners, large fan base, good history, newish stadium and dirt cheap to buy. Even with say 1 billion invested they have made the club way more valuable than that so if they were to sell they would make billions.are you saying someone who spends £4b to get rid of Scruffy Jim & the Glazers would want a return on their investment?
If the Rags get bought, as you say, someone has to stump up a shedload just to buy the decrepit club and still invest huge amounts (Stadium, playing staff, training facilities etc..). They would not be doing this for charity they would want a return on investment - easiest way to do this is to do what the Glazers did so nothing would change. They whinge about the Glazers, but it was their floating on the stock market that gave them a huge advantage back in the day that enabled the Glazers to buy them, they can't whinge as they would not have had their Glory years.
