Listening to Ratcliffe, I still reckon we can screw them completely by reducing ticket prices, especially for younger fans. First, it will mean they will have to follow suit and then all their financial planning on the new stadium will be fucked. Second, they can't do it anyway without being PSR'd. Third, it will take the moral high ground away from fucking Liverpool with their price freeze. Lastly, and most importantly, it will reconnect the club with the fanbase and give City the strongest and noisiest local, loyal Manchester fanbase for decades to come.

I just wish the executives would wake up and smell the coffee. The perfect time would be after the 115 is settled. Or maybe just after United have committed to their 2 billion stadium :)

Will a 2 billion stadium be big enough though? I thought they had 3 billion fans? Just in Surrey?

I’ve always picked women who have zero interest in football. I couldn’t even have a missus who is a Blue, because if she said something I disagreed with about our great club, well I’d have to boot her out wouldn’t I.

They haven’t got any money they are a billion in debt yet they claim they will win the league in three years time, will have the largest revenues in football and they will be spending £2 billion on a new stadium. How does scruffy Jim intend for all this to happen?

Where will they get the £2 billion from, what financial institution would hand cash over of that size to an organisation that has not made a profit for years? Then at the same time they will rebuild their team when they have a core group of players that is terrible and doesn’t have much resale value due to the high wages they have been put on. Top football players cost a lot of money, they will cost even more money to be persuaded to join a team that doesn’t guarantee champions league football and doesn’t fight for the big trophies in football.

Something has to give, they either rebuild their stadium or rebuild the team. At the same time? Not a chance.
