It's funny as I watched the game today and they just don't learn that they don't have the players to play out from the back. Their defenders can't pass the ball or control it very well. As a result, they will always suffer trying to move it into midfield. All Newcastle did was harry their midfielders and as the pass into them wasn't great, they picked it off them and created chances.

Amorim isn't a fool and knows what the problems are. However, he won't be given time. Ironically, the easiest thing for Newcastle's owners to have done when they bought the club was get rid of Howe and go for Ancelotti/Mourinho/etc but they stuck with Howe and backed him and it's paying off. United will give Amorim a max of 3 years to fix all the problems in the squad and not even Pep could do that.

If he isn't a fool, why doesn't he give them a strict instruction to not play out from the back if he knows they can't?

Or if he is and they completely ignore it, then that's a big problem already.

BBC sport reporting that Scruffy Jim wants to bring in some F1 engineer to upgrade their data gathering.

Just like his pie in the sky stadium scheme, he’ll more than likely employ Kevin Webster.

You look for marginal gains when you are at the top of the game, trying to get the extra 1%. They have holes in the roof & think the solution is a multi billion pound stadium & regeneration. They now think a Ferrari analyst is needed to tell them why Maguire can’t turn.

It’s all bollocks & reminds me of a CEO I worked for who came from a marketing background. I told him Marketing is great to be used on the gullible outside your organisation but you are falling for your own bullshit.

Well at least Webster ( Michael Le Vell ).is actually a rag. I remember when him and the bloke who played Martin Platt got twatted after Giggs scored at Maine Road lol.

how we have not beat this shower of shit this season is an absolute disgrace and seriously shows where we are at this season
I am staggered we’ve only managed a point against them and actually lost to them at home. Puzzling to say the least

boils my blood they might win EL with hardly even playing a decent side all tournament.

it might happen they win it from KO stages with Sociedad, Lyon, Rangers, and Bodo Glmyt in final wtf...
Bilbao is the last team that can eliminate them imo and even they are not as good of a side. Spurs the big fucking losers would surely go down to them in the final.

but good thing is imo they will keep Amorim and next season he will keep using his strange tactics that is not suited for that squad. he canot get anyone into form, their squad has huge holes, bunch of overpaid players hard to sell, who the hell is gonna put down hard cash for Rashford, Sancho, Antony, Lindelof, Casemiro etc.
they thinking of 100-150m revenue from sales, could be total maximum of 75 maybe.

if they get into CL somehow, in this new format they will finish about 25th or 29th of 36 hahaha. it wont be like their europa league draw.

based on their recent transfers of Mazraoui, Yoro, Zirkzee, Dorgu this is the level they can approach and land. this is the level that thinks rags are a big upgrade for their career. or Ugarte who was let go by PSG after one season as they realised how "good" he is. and look how good PSG is now.
Eintracht Frankfurt might have something to say about the final.

From what I saw of the goals you have to ask why the fuck do they bother to coach their defenders. They might just as well say to the backline: "Do what you want. No hassle. Fuck the tactics." Because that is what it looked like to me. Disorganised and confused, constantly backing off whenever Newcastle were on the attack, and then when the inevitable happens and they concede a goal they stand around, hands on hips, looking at one another wondering whose fault it was. Fucking staggering.

It's clear they've watched us a lot and studied Pep's way of working, but that can only be effective if you have the players of the calibre we have - and they do not. Watching them try to play out from the back is farcical. Newcastle bring players forward, they love to attack and keep their men on the ball. And their players are comfortable with the ball. The rags on the other hand look drained of self confidence, like they expect to get battered every time they run out onto the pitch.
And this is down to Amoron. He is the manager, he picks the sides, he makes the big decisions, and so far he's fucked up every single one.

There's a disease running through that club. I've no idea what it is, the symptoms are unlike anything I've seen before. But unless they act fast it'll be way too late for them to do anything to stop the rot.
