Hence he was hooked off at 76 minutes!!
Exactly. Hit the post early doors then scored the pen but did fuck all else. Watkins a far better player but I bet Big Nose has a clause that he starts every CL game. Only explanation for the PSG team selection. Possibly has a clause to start every PL game to "raise his profile"

He'll be back at the rags next season alongside Sancho picking his wages up in a wheelbarrow

Napoli scuppered his move to Saudi, because they kept asking for more money. Which he personally blamed them for. And they also put a social media post up, mocking him for missing a penalty. He tried to sue them for it.

A player of his age and ability who eyes a move to Saudi Arabia says a lot… he’s perfect for the Rags.

IF all the media reports about the rags transfers this window come to fruition, how the hell are they going to fund the 300+ million spend and still be within the PSR / FFP (or whatever) rules given Scruffy admitting they have been making huge losses? Oh, silly me - Masters has got a special rule for them!

One (or more) of the following:

Another COVID allowance
Pope passing allowance
US tariffs allowance
Ukraine war allowance
Oasis reunion allowance
Freddie Flintoff Top Gear car crash allowance

BBC said he was 'electrifying'.
Being unplayable he obviously scored a hat-tri.......? No?

A couple of Assists maybe....? No?

He was obviously on the winning side then....? No ?

What one penalty? well at least they must have won the matc.....? No?

Ah well I suppose being so electrifying he must have been Man of the Match....? No?

Oh I guess he must have played a key role supporting Watki...? No

Unplayable really....? No?

**Scratches head and walks away**

Did he actually play?

You can tell he thinks he’s too big for Villa.

He shouldn’t be near penalties at any club he plays for, let alone one that he joined three months ago.

He got subbed and didn’t finish the game as they had better options on the bench resting for the weekend. He made two attacks break down in the second half which Emeri thought he had seen enough and needed to change it.

Rashford is doing now what he’s done for his entire career. Sporadic moments of running onto a chance and getting a shot off and not much else. That the rags are getting exciting that he scored a dubious penalty against City highlights how far the have fallen. Their £350k a week poster boy banished by a manager who still hasn’t reached 40 points in the league in late April. The cupboard is pretty empty on reasons to be cheerful.

That Asencio fella missed 2 penalties at Southampton 2 weeks ago so maybe they let big nose take it as there's nothing else productive that he can do, and no one else fancied it.

I agree except I don't think they were resting players for the weekend cup semi - that match was crucial for Champs league qualification and much bigger than the cup semi final. He's been preferring big nose over Watkins lately.
