I spent the whole second half expecting an onslaught at some point. But thankfully it never came. A pathetic performance from our dear neighbours

None of what I am about to say is in defence of United. This exact incident happened for Bruno against Spurs this season, sent off at 1-0 when he slipped resulting in his challenge. United lose 3-0 and the decision was overturned after the game. This isn't a United thing, as the example shows it is showing even more how incompetent the people watching it back are. Alan Smith I am sure was on commentary and as they reviewed it he said that none of them have even mentioned the player slipping (he could hear the VAR audio) It is incompetence of the highest level and even after a similar incident has happened this season, they somehow got it wrong yet again. I have said it before but United are irrelevant, if they have had help in the past (probably so) they aren't going to run the risk of continued corruption to help a team move from 15th to 14th........

The thing is, it's not calling it cheating ? It's called controlled levels, and dare you cross them, When United need a result, they bloody well get it, one way or another, The continued corruption has kept them from relegation this season,

The thing that many don't see is the little things ? United needed to get something out of the game vs Bournemouth going into the BIG Europa League game, It sort of gives them a little bit of bounce and the fans backing in not losing again.

Did United need a result away to Bournemouth as they sit 14th in the league? Well what has kept them from relegation is us gifting them 4 points to begin with as well as the bottom 3 being super shit. If it was as obvious as you make out he'd have been shown a straight red surely? Why would they have their apparent corruption for all to see through a VAR decision? If VAR are ordered to help United, so is the ref as the same ref could be sat in the VAR room next week. Why did Bruno get sent off for this exact same incident, earlier on in the season when league position mattered, how did that happen if the world is conspiring for United to nick a point away to Bournemouth? On this occasion, it is all in your head mate.
 
Bilbao will bottle it and play the badge rather than the team. That and the fact the final is at their gaff.

Bilbao need a 2 goal lead if they want to go through, their away record in the Europa this season has been patchy. They've not won in the last 3 away games in the competition.

Whilst they have the best defence in La Liga, they have look goal shy recently as well.

So what happens if the decision to not send them off alters the game, remember the game at Molinuex last season when Hwang got away with a 2nd yellow & then went on to score the winner.

I would love football to follow the NFL where the player gets ejected from the game but the team aren't at a disadvantage. Clubs would be allowed to make a substitution & if they've used them all then they are down to 10 men

No, the rule is would bring in - for a deliberate foul, hauling someone back on a break - 10 min sin bin.
 
If they get kicked out of this tournament, their 'bad' Premier League season becomes catastrophic.

They can NOT be allowed to qualify for the Champions League via winning Europa, or they will officially become the turd that simply will not flush. 15th place finish and NO European Football next season will be the beginning of the end.
