Both teams are lucky that this is the first season where no Champions League teams drop into the Europa League!

Going into the Champions League will do them no favors at all! They will pay over the odds for players they don't need, whilst getting beat of most of Europe. Another season in the Europa and trying to get in the top 6 would be more beneficial for them!

It's funny how the Ratcliffe and Glazier protests don't happen in the Europa League!

They are 15th in what is possibly the worst Premier League ever with 20 teams. The champions league contains 32 teams who were to good for the Europa League! The Glazer banners will be out again by game week 3!

My guess is that a spuds player will either get sent off or injured during the match, so giving the rags a significant advantage.
Then again the ref could give them a dodgy pen.
Hopefully none of this will happen, but I'm not holding my breath!

Could land themselves in the CL next season purely by winning the Europa which they only got into because they won the FA Cup last season!
