The cup loss was down to the players. The rags will always be about unfortunately but overall their demise has been spectacular and we all got to witness it first hand.
So not all bad -:)
You wouldn't think so if you listen to the BBC, Sly Sports and other media outlets.
These gaslighting fuckers only ever focus on the rag's positives; like Mount scoring a goal or the fact that they've got through to a Europa league Cup final.
Labouring in the relegation zone for one of the world's biggest (allegedly) football clubs doesn't appear to be an issue for our scathing and critical British media.
The British Broadcasting media are just as happy to cut the rags as much slack as they need too. If you're ever unfortunate enough to listen to the commentary team when the rags are playing it breaches every fair trading standards that ever existed.
There have been times when I've watched the rags on TV and the commentary is so far out of whack with what's actually unfolding on the pitch it beggers belief. A couple of times I've had to question my own sanity and consider whether my telly is out of sync or at least assume their watching a different game to me.
Put that in contrast with the media's view and narrative of MCFC and the difference is obscene. We're getting pelters for having a shite season which I find both incredulous and completely disingenuous because the last thing that the British media want is for Manchester City to have another good season.
So essentially the rags are being praised for reaching a final (conveniently ignoring their league position) and MCFC are being criticised for what? Not winning five premier league titles on the spin.
Oh! Do fuck off you rag media prostitutes.
