will be typical Spurs if they lose this final while they beat them 3x out 3x during the season in games that in the end mattered fuck all but lose the one that matters everything.

significant money up for grabs, about 60m just to participate plus all other income like gate receipts from extra home games etc and chance to get some more prizes if they get to last 24, last 16, last 8 albeit thats unlikely...
can see rags win the final but then finish 27th or something haha and finish CL early.

will be two seasons in a row without CL whoever loses the final and for Spurs it could be first season without any international involvement since 2009-2010.

would love so much camera showing Wilcox and Berrada in their red tie with grim faces after Spurs wins it while old Ratcliffe already on his phone to cut back spending on plane back to Manchester and book a train ticket back from Bilbao for the squad.:))
Flixbus......

I know it's all fun and games but I'm not into disrespecting old men calling them "pisscan" and whatnot . Sir Alex is 83. People on here wouldn't like it if a bunch of blokes were saying derogatory things about their 83 year old grandad or dad. He's an old man. Do we not respect our elders anymore? It's not like he's a wrong 'un or anything, he was just an extraordinary manager and managed our rivals. Certainly not worthy if completely disrespecting an 83 year old Sir by calling them names.
He was, and is, a loud mouth, disrespectful bully, who only ever showed contempt for our great club.
He, and his club, encouraged that disgraceful banner for decades and took delight in our downfall.

You reap what you sow Slur Pisscan, lets hope your circus of a team see relegation 'in your lifetime'

Teams that have completed a double over them this season

West Ham
Wolves
Spurs
Brighton
Forest
Newcastle

Chelsea/Villa unfortunately cannot add to this list

WTF! Seriously? HIs age is immaterial, he'd still be a nasty bullying fucker if he was 13. Some people are just born that way: they are unpleasant individuals whose total disregard for anyone and anything that doesn't benefit them are pushed aside.
The downright vicious things he has said throughout his professional life about the club that I love means I will never, ever show respect for this petty-minded autocrat: a man who by his own admission modelled himself on Joseph Stalin!
A man who allegedly threw Mark Bosnich off the team coach miles from nowhere simply because he disagreed with the foul-mouthed Glaswegian dictator about politics.

You're on a City forum and you're telling us we should 'respect' this despotic tyrant whose rule at the swamp was both oppressive and divisive. A man who refused to sign a player who didn't go through his own son's sporting agency, thus depriving his son a handsome percentage, usually in the realms of 3-4 million pounds a signing.
A man who, with the assistance of one Maurice Watkins (former rag solicitor/ legal representative), allegedly held up the emergency services when his other son beat the living fuck out of his wife after a drunken argument one night, but instead of phoning for an ambulance he phoned his dad who then contacted Watkins in order to 'clean up' (in other words, pervert the course of justice) and dispose of any incriminating evidence.

I respect many people who have achieved great things in their lives, some people whose ideologies and integrity have always been opposite to my own. But I can never respect a man like the Pisscan. Never ever.
You echo the views of many on here.

I just love the irony that it was mainly down to his greed - re Rock of Gibraltar - that the club was sold to the Glazers, starting the journey to where they are now

BTW - I think that crooked rain is just a WUM - has to be - no one is that stupid

Mental how people still think like this. Uefa sat there fixing their draw to help the team 16th in the prem haha. Absolute lunacy.

If Spurs pull off the unthinkable and we bag the Fa Cup then this will be a cracking year. Yeah, not to our own high standards but walking away with a pot and CL footy, as they lose to a bottling team in the final, no CL and finishing probably with 39 points is the stuff of dreams. Relegation would be funny but lets face it, they'd be straight back up. I am more than happy with them languishing in the lower ends of the prem and long may it continue.
I'm not at all sure that they would come straight back up

The Championship has become a very tough league to get out of

That figure irritates the bejesus out of me everyday as it is a complete falsehood which has been repeated enough times that everybody now quotes it as gospel, they dont have 659 million fans or anywhere close to that, that figure was generated by a marketing company who used the metric of anyone that has typed united into a search bar would be classed as a united fan, so even as a city fan if you had typed city vs united tickets into the search bar you would be classed as showing interest in the rags and therefore be classed as a fan, its just another in a long line of myths that surround that shambles of a club propped up by a supportive media who are happy to perpetuate their bullshit.
Exactly - we are all part of the 659m (now increased with global population)............. :-)

Hmmm,Amorim saying he may have to go if poor form continues, decisions decisions decisions, the waistcoat it is then ..
Imagine it was waistcoat in charge with the record Amorim has served up.... Narrative would be a lot different. Protests galore.

Yes they are
Well I don't think many championship sides would be in the europa league final and each and every time they have come up against that level of side in cup comps, they beat them. So yes, they are shit, very shit in fact. But not shit enough to be even shitter in a league below. Let them rot at the lower end of the prem.

most of the clubs they have come up against in the europa league haver been championship level at best and they have struggled to beat them, at some point in each of the three knockout stages they have played against ten men as well.

Fast forward to May 2026 and the final games of the season.
Newly promoted Sunderland need a point at home to the Rags to stay up. The Rags need the same to finish in 17th.
In 18th, West Ham need a victory away at newly crowned champions City.
Sunderland and the Rags play out a dull 0-0 draw. Meanwhile at the Etihad, City are 2-1 in the 89th minute.
But what is this, Soucek rises like a salmon to bury a header past the hapless Scott Carson.
With the Hammers roared on by 60,000 fanatical supporters the game enters the final minute.
Hammers get a free kick and launch a Hail Mary into the box. It falls free to Jarrod Bowen just six yards out. Can he, will he :-)
He can at 93:19.
