Enjoyed that tonight, not the football but the nostalgia..
Tonight for the first time in awhile, I really wanted United to lose in a game not involving City.
The WA was going, I cheered the Spurs like I did one of our own and celebrated at the final whistle.
It’s been a long time since I have been that invested.
Don’t get me wrong, I want them to lose but it’s not the same as they always do.
This one, annoyed me. They were very fortunate in the FA Cup (all bar the final, which we did not turn up but should have stopped them being in Europe).
That cup final would have annoyed me again if they had got CL.
But now it’s pretty much made it funny.
Where do they go from here…
