On the subject of rag supporters, how many sportsmen "support" them.
We know about Rory NcIlroy, but some of the newer guys apparently do.
Tenniks star Jack Draper, darts' Like Littler, new England Test cricket cap Sa\m Cook........there may be others I've forgotten about.
Draper and Cook, surprise surprise, are from the Home Counties. At least Littler comes from Warringtom.
Some of these will hardly remember a successful Utd side.
So why support them? Perhaps they are so concentrated on their own sport that they know very little about football.

Where I live in Lancashire it used to be all LFC and MUFC with a few Preston fans. Now it is all City and Liverpool and the Rags have vanished. Their fanbase is rapidly declining. It is a double whammy for them from their most bitter rivals.Happy days.
