On the subject of rag supporters, how many sportsmen "support" them.
We know about Rory NcIlroy, but some of the newer guys apparently do.
Tenniks star Jack Draper, darts' Like Littler, new England Test cricket cap Sa\m Cook........there may be others I've forgotten about.
Draper and Cook, surprise surprise, are from the Home Counties. At least Littler comes from Warringtom.
Some of these will hardly remember a successful Utd side.
So why support them? Perhaps they are so concentrated on their own sport that they know very little about football.
They won the FA Cup in 2016, the League Cup and Europa League in 2017, the League Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024. It's hardly a drought is it?

They have said publicly 3 years. I have heard through legal connections it's 6.
Wolves are insane if they’ve accepted payment terms outside the express terms of the release clause, when they are under no obligation to do so.

The more of the fee United are able to defer, the less likely Wolves will get paid in paid in full.

Exactly - if you were going to entertain the idea of it being staggered over a longer period, you would surely be looking for the overall fee to increase substantially............

I know that. I was replying to the poster who wondered why young sportsmen would choose to support them when they've won nothing for years. I was merely pointing out that they have.

Draper will have followed his daddy - who was a complete cock (imo), had a few run-ins with him.

Five trophies in nine years isn't a drought.
I would be more than happy if we win that amount in our bext nine years. Admittedly I would like a premier league title in that mix. CTID
