So now brailsford is abandoning ship, but I thought he was going to revolutionise em??? ah well at least scruffy Jim will save on his wages
I've just looked quickly at his last 50 stories. 37 on united, 13 on other clubs (and a couple of those were about Spurs and the Europa League final).
So he wasn't the Messiah then?So now brailsford is abandoning ship, but I thought he was going to revolutionise em??? ah well at least scruffy Jim will save on his wages
I have a theory that if you were a good footballer, with the medals to prove it. You will never make it as a manager of players that are of an inferior level of talent. They wouldn't have the patience or tolerance watching someone who can't play with both feet, or hit a ball first time and volley it into the top corner. You can't coach talent into someone. It would be exasperating trying to make people into something they are not. You have to be a leader of men, to get them onside and believe in you. They won't believe in you if you don't think they are any good.He comes across far better than the aforementioned Rags who would probably have sent Boro into league one.
Shrek has form for this and the others didn't stick around anywhere long enough and were either sacked or walked away before they could.
My issue is he was hyped as the second coming when he got the Boro job by the usual Rag arselickers in the media as is the case with any ex Rag who is given a coaching role.
Shares a house with Anthony Taylor?
I like your theory it probably explains why I never made it to the top, or bottom even, in coaching, after I won my league winners medal at 11. ;-)I have a theory that if you were a good footballer, with the medals to prove it. There are some top coaches who were top players but equally a lot of top coaches weren't.I have a theory that if you were a good footballer, with the medals to prove it. Know a few villa fans who said this is exactly what happened at villa when Gerrard was there. Would spend entire training sessions basically just trying to show the team how good he still was and playing in every training game etc.I have a theory that if you were a good footballer, with the medals to prove it. A bloke who was good at coaching/doping cyclists 15 years ago. His best talent though was squeezing cash out of a tight fisted Billionaire. So now brailsford is abandoning ship, but I thought he was going to revolutionise em??? ah well at least scruffy Jim will save on his wages
