Can't be too long until clubs are turning to charities for shirt sponsors to circumvent the failings me thinks...........

Most of them are very poor technically. They can’t play first time passes, they struggle to trap the ball. That’s why they end up hoofing the ball into the box towards Maguire. They would have been relegated if not for the worst three clubs in living memory going down.

To be fair, I'd rather have the summer off and be champions like Liverpool, rather than us finishing third and playing some modern day inter-toto cup during the summer with a lot of low level teams in it.

The worst part is Liverpool players will be nicely rested for the new season and our players are still being flogged.
 
Rags only have to play one game a week for most of next season, so they don't need a big squad. They can always promote a youth player anyway, as you know, they have always had an academy product in their team since King John sealed Magna Carta.

Their objective is just to be slightly less shit than the bottom three. You really don't need much that's special for that. (Everton do it every year.) The mugs will still rock up and buy their club store out.

Bayern, inter Milan, juventus, chelsea, psg, Madrid, Atletico, Porto, Boca Juniors, River Plate, PSG, Real Madris, Palmieras, Benfica. Yeah some really low level teams in that list, practically part timers with no hope of winning the £100m prize.

If you offered me 3rd in the PL and Win this I'd take the winning of this cup. It's much more important in terms of marketing, revenue and the future
