City targeted Fred, Sanchez, Maguire, Jorginho and Kane amongst others and went ‘down the list’ as you say and brought in Rodri, Mahrez, Ruben Dias and Haaland. The club achieved a better treble than your beloved rags and also achieved a historic four in a row which old piss can Taggert never achieved and no one in the history of the dippers has ever achieved with these ‘down the list players.

It’s notable that one of those players listed being Rodri went on to win the Ballon D’or. Just because one player didn’t prefer City to Liverpool does that mean the world is falling in for the club?

As for highlighting that Klopp’s number two is at City. Pep has had Arteta in the dugout with him. Does that mean he’s trying to replicate Wenger or Moyes by picking Arteta’s footballing knowledge?

You can interpret the players decisions that way, course you can. Improbable that both clubs offered them the exact same deals so unless something leaks we'll never know what the determining factor was however.......

He believes he deserves to play for a top club just because of the people around him telling him so! The only way he plays for Barcelona is he run down his contract and goes there for nought that if they want him.

It was one of 9 docks in a group of docks that were in the Manchester docks conglomerate, it was still Salford docks.

That isn't surprising really because even now Salford is IN greater Manchester :)

He's a prisoner of his own contract, his wages are a huge disincentive for any club to take a risk on him, same as a number of other Untied rejects. Personally if I was him I'd take a substantial pay cut and look forward to playing football week in , week out but I'm sure his agent would be dead against that. I wonder if Untied are teaching other clubs what a risky business it is to hand out contracts worth millions over long periods leading to players like Rashford being able to sit on their hands and rake it in. It's crazy and I think it would be far more prudent to slash basic wages and replace guaranteed income with performance based payments.
