As I understand it, based on what Tommy Docherty* said in the 70s, they get 25000+ in at The Swamp on laundry days just to watch the players' kit drying.. apparently down to the 'club's mystique' and all that..

(* mind, Docherty, as Aston Villa manager, also used to say exactly the same about Villa fans around the time when I was at university in the Midlands.. much to the annoyance of my Birmingham City supporting girlfriend!)

Yeah 2028 is when they think the club is 150 years old but the rags were incorporated in 1907 so they seem to have got their maths wrong

The biggest draw at the swamp for a manager, is the massive payoff for failure. A decent conman would piss the interview.
