Why do the rags think it's a plus they will only be playing 1 game per week.
I would question the motivation of any player making that move.
Good player's want to play, top players do.
You don't need more time on the training pitch, you need to play more games, the plus is you may have less injuries .
If they don't start well, motivating that squad to finish top half of table is going to be difficult.
They can only get beat once a week?

They’ll be just as shit. Adding Cunha and Mbuemo aren’t missing pieces to the puzzle. If they was a consistent team who created a lot of chances then these players would make a difference. But they’re not they are shite.

I hope they will be relegated, but I think they will be back this season & will compete for a top 4 finish

Cunha & Mbuemo are too good to fail.

I think they will bring in a centre-forward too, possibly Ollie Watkins and will end up with a much stronger forward line than last season if only because an ostracised group of players will have temporarily been moved on at a huge economic cost. They have effectively turned their supporters against their players and destroyed their transfer value, nevertheless they will temporarily have extricated themselves from a hole that Amorim and heir club bosses dug for themselves at a high economic cost.

The BBC reports that "Him joining Barcelona would be a big positive for United as they look to strengthen Amorim's squad. With more than £130m committed to signing Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, further deals have to be funded through departures. Even if Rashford's exit were initially on loan, the saving off the wage bill would be significant given only Casemiro earns more than his £325,000-a-week salary." I don't see how loaning a player out with no obligation to buy is ideal. They can make destructive transfer moves because of the leeway the Premier League has given them. I believe that players like Rashford and Garnacho are as good as the players that they are bringing in but they created a problem for themselves and at cost they will temporarily fix it. It's not good management, but Man Utd and Barcelona benefit from supportive administration of their leagues. They both get to kick their financial problems down the road. Man Utd should have been financially hamstrung by being KO'd from European football but because of the PL they will live to fight another day.

At a great cost, they will end up with Cunha, Mbeumo and perhaps Watkins which is far better than the dysfunctional non-scoring forward line they had last season. I don't think they will be challenging for the top 4 but they will be a lot stronger than they were last season. That seems obvious. When last season ended, I did not imagine that the Premier League would accept Red Football accounts as the basis of their PSR calculation, and hence they have extricated themselves out of what looked like a huge hole. The media has reported this without asking any questions. The BBC have uploaded videos on Man Utd Finances explained which are very soft. Red Football are the UK subsidiary of Man Utd plc and these set of accounts show much reduced losses than their parent group and under PL rules a club must submit the accounts of an UK based entity. In the process they have evaded much of the costs of the disastrous Glazer/Ineos regime with no consequences.

This is the real story. Man Utd plc incurred losses of £330m over a 3 year period, have evaded PSR rules by submitting accounts based on their UK subsidiary, and it is reported as a matter of fact. Chelsea directors sell hotels, and their womens team, spending billions and eventually they stumble on forwards like Pedro and Delap who will put them back in business, whilst every email that MCFC has ever written in a period are reviewed forensically.

Red football Co. came into existence in 2005, who knew?
Red herring if you ask me!

As annoying as this whole Red Football Co. scam is, ultimately its only adding to the demise of united, basically just giving them more rope to hang themselves with.

It's allowing their debts to become even bigger and even more unsustainable and making the likelihood of someone coming along and buying the club from the beloved Glazers even less likely.

In that case it's a 'Like' from me.

I think you are correct in what you say, but the media are being very slow to ask the questions.....

If adding Cunha and Mbuemo to the team that finished 15th is enough to make them top four challengers, does that mean Wolves and Brentford have only been 1 player away from being Champions League clubs?

No. The rags are still shit. And cunts, for that matter.

They will be nowhere near the top four which will be City, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea. I would say they will be at least 20 points behind the top four. Let’s wait and see.

It's hard to imagine the players themselves believe they can move the rags to challenge for a top position.
