Blues shouldn't be laughing at this "DNA" nonsense, we should be promoting and encouraging it for all the reasons already mentioned.

A number of my close family are rags and, on the odd occasion, I get into a serious football conversation with them, I bemoan the lack of united DNA in whichever manager, player or executive they happen to be saying isn't good enough at the time. I think I've convinced them that Zirkzee has the DNA so I'm pretty convincing although, if this farce carries on (and I sincerely hope it does), they may realise I'm taking the piss.

Nice isn't it. All this time not having the self awareness to realise they're part of the problem. They want things to go back to what made them a successful club, whilst at the same time acknowledging the game's moved on. I said a few seasons back that when the piss can went, they should have employed someone to modernise the club. Someone not invested in the club in any way, shape or form.
Alternatively they tried to remain relevant, spending billions on players and managers. Let's hope it continues.

I'm beginning to suspect that Sir Jim, with his fortune based in petrochemicals, and therefore potentially having a lot of commonality with our UAE owner, might be in on it as well. The new Philby, Burgess & Maclean.

Maresca, with his City heritage, would complete the takeover.
 
They are dead right about the United DNA. I mean this is Manchester United Football Club that we are talking about. Manchester United. Man U.

All they need is score more goals than they concede in every game. Its not rocket science, it's just football heritage.

Why do people laugh at them? They are correct. Everyone keeps laughing, why? It's not fair. Its the United Wah Wah Wah.
 
A management committee of Scholes/Neville/Butt/Rooney picking the team every week would be good for a laugh,see how these snipers would get on.

The DNA wasn’t magic, it was people, behaviour and standards. Those people are gone and those standards are no longer there. They are a cash cow for the Glazers and they're not interested in those standards and long may it continue.

This nauseating DNA shite (and the equivalent Red Scouse myth waffle Shankly and Paisely having left their magic in the Boot Room too) has gone beyond simply being tiresome now. Why the rest of us are expected to listen to it and are criticised for calling it out is beats me.
Like you say, they can believe whatever they want but until they put in the graft, it ain't happening.
