A management committee of Scholes/Neville/Butt/Rooney picking the team every week would be good for a laugh,see how these snipers would get on.

This nauseating DNA shite (and the equivalent Red Scouse myth waffle Shankly and Paisely having left their magic in the Boot Room too) has gone beyond simply being tiresome now. Why the rest of us are expected to listen to it and are criticised for calling it out is beats me.
Like you say, they can believe whatever they want but until they put in the graft, it ain't happening.

The funny thing is that they are now so shit that it would take 5-8 years to get them back to challenging for the title if they had the best people in the world in the boardroom. With the current shower of shite behind the scenes, they could have 5-8 decades and still be nowhere near.
