Audio tests have proven its the loudest ground in England.

If it's wrong, who do so many managers like Pep say it's the hardest ground in the league to go to because of the crowd and atmosphere. All managers and players and ex players say it. Are they all wrong then?

The kop is clearly a terrifying force of nature when it gets bouncing. We've seen City teams play within themselves because of it.

I’ve seen Real Madrid play within themselves because they were terrified of the Etihad atmosphere.

More than one Madrid player has gone on record to say the Etihad had the best away atmosphere they’d ever experienced.

Truth is that for the big games the atmosphere will often be there - including at City.

Hilarious club. All the big hoo-ha last season about Amorim overhauling the squad and subsequently alienating the likes of Rashford and Garnacho with his "my way or the highway". All they've done is signed Cunha and this Mbeumo deal seems to be dead in the water, even moreso if Newcastle takes Wissa from Brentford.

Usually, you can count on United to way overpay for a desperate deal come end of the window, but I wouldn't count on that with the penny pincher in charge now.

Dream situation is no one bites for any of the 5 deemed surplus to requirements this window, they sit there taking home the wages and not playing until January when the situation is revisited as they get delusions of making world cup squads if they can play every week.

At the very worst please everyone just come in with low ball offers from 30/8.

Good signing but…£70m! Christ.

Especially when you consider he outperformed all XG (I know, I know) last season. Suggests the ultimate purple patch.

Taken to the cleaners for two steady PL players in him and Cunha.

I read that they're being kept away from the other players so as long as Amorim is manager it's pretty certain they won't be playing. So Untied will be paying millions in wages for them to just basically turn up and clock in then go home again, hilarious.
Can you imagine this happening at any other club on this scale. We got hammered when we sent Tevez on "golfng leave" after the bust-up at Bayern. What a shambles. Lovely stuff!

70m for a player who only broke double figures for the first time in four years last year and massively overperformed to do so is hilariously poor value.

Good player, but can't remember at any point last season hoping city would sign him or thinking he was a £70m player.
It will all be our fault if course for inflating the market by paying 100m for grealish.

What the friendly press will say is that they have brought in 35 pl goals , what they wont say is that they have paid 135m for 2 players who scored double digits for the first time in their careers last year and there is just a big a chance that they revert to type being 8 and 10 goal a season players than replicate last season, there is a much bigger body of work to suggest that last season was an anomaly than the norm.
