I hear you KentBlue, and I share in your foreboding thoughts.

However, I'm possibly a little bit more optimistc this time around, chiefly because of what appears to be a chasm between the players and the manager.

Their game against Burnley this weekend is going to take more than just a casual "reaction" to a previous loss. It's going to take a monumental statement of intent and and a togetherness that would inspire our forefathers in the in the trenches during the second world war.

The rags (in my opinion) are defragmented in all areas and completely disenfranchised with whatever project was sold to them.

The players don't trust the manager, the manager doesn't trust the players, the board don't trust anyone and the media don't trust themselves.

What's not to like about that?
they can still out work us thats all spurs did nothing more

The rags need to win and be successful, is exactly why the are failing. Sponsorship tying them to european involvement has meant they have desperately lurched from one manager to another. Buying players like money doesn't matter.

Instead of taking stock, outlining a plan, and then giving it time to take root. They are just blindingly stumbling from one disaster to the next.
It took the dippers decades to see the light. They were suffering from grief of not being top dogs anymore.
The rags won't progress until they reach the final stage, which is acceptance.

Even we have to accept we are not at the top at the moment. We had an unbelievable run. So we as fans have to be more understanding, and give our new recruits time to bed in. The other is not wanting to throw away our established players in some immature strop. We have never done things the "United way", so shouldn't start now!

You won’t be popular on here - coming out with common sense like that lad! Away with you.

Hehe
Finally was in Tesco just and saw the Tesco worker with a rag tattoo. I asked him " does your fresh fish come from Grimsby "?
Kin hell he didn't take it well" you blue lot from Manchester need to wind you necks in"
I was just going on with " at least we are from Manchester" when a work colleague pushed him away. For someone at work i was surprised how quickly he lost it lololol.

I'm amazed at the concern with Amorim's tactics and the analysis of the failings in the team's approach. I also don't see why we're concerned with the weaknesses of their "players". Why don't we just admit that this is the most splendid rag performance we have seen in years. I enjoyed it from first minute to last and most of all when it was finally over. To stretch the affair to 12-11 on penalties, with the manager too scared to watch was just epic. And there are even signs they might get worse! GLORY! GLORY MAN UTD! AND THE REDS GO LIMPING ON!

Every little helps...

For every blue who had to take an unbearable amount of shit in the workplace or the playground while we were at our lowest ebb and they were winning.

For every blue who stuck it out and laughed while those pricks rubbed it in our faces with their stupid fucking banner and that gigantic arsehole gpc.

For every blue who showed up and indulged in gallows humour while we lost at home to fucking stockport.

For every blue who queud for 8 fucking hrs for gillingham tickets to see us go 2 0 down and think not again but stuck it till the end.

For every blue who dared to dream when the sheikh showed up but was still mocked and told we were nothing but a rich mans play thing.

For every blue who saw us go 2-1 down to qpr and thought how can you keep doing this to us but still stuck it to see the aguero moment.

Now, now is your time you can turn round, stand up tall, stick your chest out, stick two fingers up and say fuck you and everyone that looks like you, even at our worst we were still levels above your toxic stain of a club, you will never know what its like to be a blue, you will never know what its like to support gods own club nor will you ever deserve to.
Stands on settee and applauds

Anyone else feel like running through a brick wall?

I have an awful feeling in the pit of my cavernous stomach that they are going to beat Burnley, quite comfortably, and then have their tails up against us because they will have the media behind them blowing smoke up their arses, telling them things are looking up for them, etc. I hope to fuck I'm wrong and their plummet into the abyss of 3rd tier football continues, but we know what scummy cunts they are: a few decisions going in their favour and the heralding of a great new dawn for the rags will be plastered across every tabloid from here to Antarctica.
It shouldn't be a case of rags getting decisions going their way, or we are very unlucky on the day.
Just turn up and perform and we inialate the cunts.

well,
one rag mate has somehow found his phone and replied...

"i've never been a fan of foreign managers.
they just don't understand the english game."

i replied "scotland is not in england" but he hasn't got back to me yet.
No English manager has ever won the PL

This is the bit I can’t understand

I can get a toxic workplace culture. I’ve seen a few of them. But normally it’s is a core of individuals who set the norm and keep it going. Usually when this gets broken up things change

They have had such a turnover of players I don’t get how it persists. Especially as every manager has had a mini purge of their own

There’s only one constant in this though we may have overlooked

Amiron is nuts, his press conference is nuts. Sometimes I want to leave sometimes I want to stay 20 years sometimes I like my players sometimes I don’t want to be with them !

Wow utter mental comments

Begging for the nine-ten-Jack. Just hope it doesn't come before 14th September.

Shame, as that song we sing about him is really catchy.
