ShushhhhhhhThis is what i dont get about the whole players in his system spiel, he spent over 200m this summer for players to play in his system and its done absolutely nothing, to say he doesnt have the players to play in his system is just masking his ineptitude to coach the players to play in his system.
I agree they've wasted time and money. I'd have thought that a proper set of defenders and a quality midfield engine would make a huge difference. So I'd have replaced Fernandes, Maguire and Shaw asap. This is what i dont get about the whole players in his system spiel, he spent over 200m this summer for players to play in his system and its done absolutely nothing, to say he doesnt have the players to play in his system is just masking his ineptitude to coach the players to play in his system.
They can't really continue to decline and stay up though, so if you want them to stay in the lower reaches of the league we will need them to improve occasionally :-)never understood it, i hope united continue to rot, slowly , not arsed if they go down, but lower reaches of the premier league and six points for us every season, why people even think about sharing their thoughts on how they could improve ive no idea, slow steady decline for the rest of their days, flitting with relegation ,but never low enough so they experience the joy of last day staying up, 17th for the rest of their days
Villa,Toon will both finish above them.Any of the six teams currently below them for a start. I think you're being a bit giddy here. Lets laugh at them but we don't need to pretend they're even worse than they are.
They're only 3 points behind us and they've had a far tougher set of fixtures than us. They're going to have another nothing season but if you're getting your hopes up for them to get relegated you'll be setting yourself up for disappointment, it isn't going to happen.
In the main though it’s negative. They’ve just spent 15 mins slagging them and the manager off on talksport. Tomorrow they have camel gob on who will no doubt be asked about the rags. With nothing positive to say the air time they’re getting for being dog shit is funny as fuck. It’s laughable that a team that has been irrelevant for 15 or more years still takes up 50% of the TV.
You would think United are in with a great chance of every trophy going.
Imagine tuning into German TV and everything was about the latest at Werder Bremen.
I can stomach it if they are doing really well or very badly but “Breaking …after 20 years Man United are still average… more after the break”
I realise it’s because there are so many people interested in how they are doing, for whatever reason, but there comes a point where it’s just boring.
It’s not that I want to hear more about City it’s more that, right now, there should be more coverage of say Palace. It’s interesting what they are doing there at the moment. There is just nothing at United, they aren’t even in Europe.
Even Simon Jordan mentioned it’s boring having to talk about them all of the time.
P.S. It’s ok for us as they are our local rivals!
Potter. Please. That would be magic .They won't get relegated
Even if they carry on current trajectory, the average says they will finish on 45 points.
That gets you around 13th/14th.
I do think they will go for an interim until the end of the season once it becomes possible to sack Amorim without a big compensation figure.
I just don't see why Glasner or Iraola would leave mid-season when they could both have tremendous seasons with their current teams and maybe even be in the picture for jobs at Bayern, Madrid, Barca etc..who knows what can happen.
I can't see Ratcliffe getting Southgate. The fans don't want him and they sacked Ashworth because by all accounts he pushed for Southgate but in the end didn't align himself with the Berrada/ Wilcox vision which the club chose. Ratcliffe would look a right mug.
Ole until the end of the season I reckon.
That's what the fans want.
Most of them want Penandes sold.I still think that the best thing united could do is to stick with Amorin and replace the old guard of Maguire, Shaw, Fernandez with players able to excel in his system. But it'll take time and money and patience.
They'll falter soon though and replace him so that the next guy has even more players to replace. I hope they wait till the worst possible time though as usual.
He's get them organised & they'd probably concede fewer goals & loose fewer games, but they'd be absolute torture to watch. They have Southgate in top3 replacement list
There is that but they are crap only by their historical standards, but in their recent history they are just mid table and still are. That’s not news to me. Nothing has happened it’s just rinse and repeat for years. In the main though it’s negative. They’ve just spent 15 mins slagging them and the manager off on talksport. Tomorrow they have camel gob on who will no doubt be asked about the rags. With nothing positive to say the air time they’re getting for being dog shit is funny as fuck.
I see what you did there.Potter. Please. That would be magic .
They’ve scaled back already. Before you know it they’ll scale back so far it’ll just be doing a lick of paint over the scaffold and some tarp over the roofs. All gone very quite on the new stadium, think the scruff may have realised there is no money left in the Government hand out pot
There was a post on one of the football socials yesterday saying they’ve scrapped the idea of the big top canopy and the new stadium will just be a bowl. In reality the stadium is a figment of their deluded imagination but did its trick by keeping the natives happy for a little while. They’ve scaled back already. Before you know it they’ll scale back so far it’ll just be doing a lick of paint over the scaffold and some tarp over the roofs.
The club is diseased. Needs putting out of its misery.
