Any of the six teams currently below them for a start. I think you're being a bit giddy here. Lets laugh at them but we don't need to pretend they're even worse than they are.

They're only 3 points behind us and they've had a far tougher set of fixtures than us. They're going to have another nothing season but if you're getting your hopes up for them to get relegated you'll be setting yourself up for disappointment, it isn't going to happen.
Villa,Toon will both finish above them.
Hammers will get new manager bounce.
Ange will get Forest playing OK ; Parkers a decent coach & Burnley are better than their position. Even Wolves I can see improving.

It’s laughable that a team that has been irrelevant for 15 or more years still takes up 50% of the TV.

You would think United are in with a great chance of every trophy going.

Imagine tuning into German TV and everything was about the latest at Werder Bremen.

I can stomach it if they are doing really well or very badly but “Breaking …after 20 years Man United are still average… more after the break”

I realise it’s because there are so many people interested in how they are doing, for whatever reason, but there comes a point where it’s just boring.

It’s not that I want to hear more about City it’s more that, right now, there should be more coverage of say Palace. It’s interesting what they are doing there at the moment. There is just nothing at United, they aren’t even in Europe.

Even Simon Jordan mentioned it’s boring having to talk about them all of the time.

P.S. It’s ok for us as they are our local rivals!
In the main though it’s negative. They’ve just spent 15 mins slagging them and the manager off on talksport. Tomorrow they have camel gob on who will no doubt be asked about the rags. With nothing positive to say the air time they’re getting for being dog shit is funny as fuck.

They won't get relegated

Even if they carry on current trajectory, the average says they will finish on 45 points.

That gets you around 13th/14th.

I do think they will go for an interim until the end of the season once it becomes possible to sack Amorim without a big compensation figure.

I just don't see why Glasner or Iraola would leave mid-season when they could both have tremendous seasons with their current teams and maybe even be in the picture for jobs at Bayern, Madrid, Barca etc..who knows what can happen.

I can't see Ratcliffe getting Southgate. The fans don't want him and they sacked Ashworth because by all accounts he pushed for Southgate but in the end didn't align himself with the Berrada/ Wilcox vision which the club chose. Ratcliffe would look a right mug.

Ole until the end of the season I reckon.

That's what the fans want.
Potter. Please. That would be magic .

I still think that the best thing united could do is to stick with Amorin and replace the old guard of Maguire, Shaw, Fernandez with players able to excel in his system. But it'll take time and money and patience.

They'll falter soon though and replace him so that the next guy has even more players to replace. I hope they wait till the worst possible time though as usual.
Most of them want Penandes sold.

There is that but they are crap only by their historical standards, but in their recent history they are just mid table and still are. That’s not news to me. Nothing has happened it’s just rinse and repeat for years.

All gone very quite on the new stadium, think the scruff may have realised there is no money left in the Government hand out pot
They’ve scaled back already. Before you know it they’ll scale back so far it’ll just be doing a lick of paint over the scaffold and some tarp over the roofs.

The club is diseased. Needs putting out of its misery.

There was a post on one of the football socials yesterday saying they’ve scrapped the idea of the big top canopy and the new stadium will just be a bowl. In reality the stadium is a figment of their deluded imagination but did its trick by keeping the natives happy for a little while.

Shame about the clown stadium hah.

We've now got Shrek coming out and criticising Amorim - our campaign is over. When an inarticulate sloth like Tudor man has his knives out for you you're finished, such is his supposed influence.
Isn't Tudor the Juventus manager ?

I think most of them regret not selling him for $squillions in the summer to Saudi or wherever - thing is he was adored and Amorim was the next big thing and both have had their futures destroyed by the toxicity there. Rag fans thought he would walk into any top flight team anywhere but the last season or so has confirmed he is a temperamental ego-fest that would poison a dressing room

so you think Newcastle, Villa, Forest, West Ham will finish below United? I think you need your head checking. Only West ham are actually possibly relegation battlers which means it's 3 teams out of 4 and United are right in the mix

If they wa

If they wait till November to sack him there's a very good chance there won't be three teams worse than them.
It's always fun to have a little wager on them getting relegated, there's always a cash out option.

They need a premier league proven manager not someone who done a job abroad. They need to forget about becoming a top 4 club again over night. They need to improve season by season not regress further every season. They need to stop dreaming of another Ferguson. They need to forget about the 'Next Pep'. They need a manager who goes back to basics who doesn't have some rigid system to stick to. They need to stop spending insane sums on players who have had one good season. They need to stop sacking managers midway through the season except in the case of Amornowin who should have been sacked weeks ago. Thank fuck no one at swamp seems to realise any of this.

United will finish around 14th which is exactly where they are right now.

United’s problem has never been the Manager or the players. They have had great Managers and great players.

Thankfully, they are owned by people whose sole purpose is to leech money from them. The owners know that, however badly they do, their following is big enough for it not to overly impact them. There is no requirement, in that respect, to significantly improve.

There is no joined up plan. The players have been bought to play different systems to each other over time. When Mourinho said his greatest achievement was finishing second to City with them he wasn’t joking.

Long may it continue. As long as people believe any Manager can fix it I’m happy because nothing will change. How much evidence do people want?!

He's a fair weather player who scores penalties & assists but he isn't a team player who's willing to put a shift in off the ball when the going gets tough

Prefer them to stay in Premiership and suffer
