Very accurate bit of reporting in there - it specifies that Crerand senior's house in Sale is worth £879,000.
I thought 'how odd' - quoting any figure, never mind a specific number such as that.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I know someone who had businesses dealings with Crerand after he retired. He never paid his bills on time, pulled out the ‘do you know who I am?’ card constantly and was always threatening thinly-veiled violence. He’s a despicable ****.
