I have this kind of interest in every team. Looking up stats and posting about them, especially about the big six teams I guess, is one of my favourite things to do.
Fair enough fella.

For what it's worth, I'm no sure what the stats say but I've watched them 4 or 5 times this season and based on what I saw, they're nowhere near a top 4/5 side and I'd wager that their 2nd half of the season results are likely to be worse than their 1st half of the season results.

Uefa Conference League qualification at best in my opinion and that's just grand as far as I'm concerned. We'll see just big they are playing Shamrock Rovers on a Thursday night in mid December.

Cunts

I've watched a few of their games this season with my brother who's a red. It's funny as I see United now like one of those teams like Everton/West Ham etc who can sometimes finish 6th in a really good season. You feel they could almost kick on if they spent some big money on a top class manager and players. Then I realise they have spent a fortune on players and are stuck in that upper middle table battle. And their manager has a CV that's about as good as the guys at Brentford/Brighton etc.

However, without question they have 2 superb players in Mbuemo and Fernandes and without them they are fucked! :D Those 2 can open up any defence and if they are not available they are going to struggle.

LOVE IT!
I haven't watched them a lot.
But I fail to see how this mbuemo is a superb player.
The diving rat is half decent.
But he's a cheating **** who goes missing in big games

United are workmanlike currently. Have some talent in Fernandes ( who is in the latter end of his career) , possibly Cunha and Mbeumo. The keeper might turn out alright. After that it’s very average imo. Will have good days and bad but will need others to be poor to make top 5/6 . Hopefully do well enough to keep Amorim into next season when they can change manager and style with a new manager and repeat all the mistakes again.

Every now and then I forget the arrogance and then they remind me. Nicky Butt thinks United should "bully" Villa into selling them Morgan Rogers. The lack of self awareness is amazing.

Me too ... I was a Blue since the family barbecue the day after Law had backheeled United to relegation.

My uncle John claimed till his dying day that everyone leaving OT thought 'Denis has done it'. He was there so he should know ... but Mum didn't let me go to Maine Road till a few years later, because it was 'too rough'.

The 'classic' brown Coventry kit on programme cover.

Why would they think Rogers want to leave Villa to go there? Arrogance and lack of awareness sums it up perfectly.

T'was ever thus, mate. T'was ever thus. I remember having similar discussions with some plastic rags ("Can't get a ticket") years ago and during close season a couple of them sitting near me said: "Yeah well, it don't matter 'cos we'll buy Wright-Phillips from City and probably Lampard from Chelsea, then we'll be fit to go." Before I had a chance somebody nearby called out: "FFS! What if they don't want to join your lot?" And the raggies looked at this guy with utter astonishment and said: "Course everybody wants to join us, we're Manschnited."

So even though this took place many years ago it gives you an idea of just how arrogant they were back then. Nothing has changed, they probably still think the same even though they've won fuck all of merit since that odious, toxic bastard from the Gorbals was told to step down.

You may recall I sent complaints to all media & BBC about the non stop coverage of the rags. In particular I questioned the BBC about why a mid table team has its own chief reporter (Simon Stone). This is their joke of a reply - & My latest reply -( on complaints page as they won’t let you email them direct)

Sorry it’s SO LONG

Dear Sirs

This is NOT true - (particularly the paragraph I have underlined below) . It was NOT one of the most talked about issues in football. Only by the BBC. who waste our money by appointing a dedicated United reporter. They’re not even a mid table team yet you choose to highlight everything they do.

Why aren’t Arsenal; Man City; Chelsea & other TOP teams given the same treatment

Your answers are always the same and do not make sense & are not true.

Give ALL clubs a dedicated CHIEF REPORTER????

You can’t and you won’t.

STOP THIS SPECIALISED TREATMENT OF UNITED.

Dear Audience Member

Thanks for contacting us about the BBC Sport website.

Simon's role is to report on Manchester United for BBC Sport. He is one of a group of senior journalists that cover specific Premier League clubs for us. And we're currently advertising more roles to further widen this pool. As you would expect, part of Simon's role is to cover key events involving Manchester United, and this is the same as our other writers following their assigned club at key times.

We can assure you, that we’re always mindful of the costs and finances behind putting together our output, while at the same time trying to provide the best possible service to our audiences.

Recently, with the season having almost drawn to a conclusion, one of the talking points in the world of football has been Manchester United's post-season tour to Asia, which stood out amongst the calendars of all other Premier League clubs. The tour had prompted much discussion and debate, with the team flying to Malaysia almost immediately after their final match of the season.

In this context, we felt it was newsworthy for our audience to feature an insight into the tour's progress. The tour wasn't without incident, and saw several widely talked about moments, including an open top bus tour before United's loss to ASEAN All Stars, where the team were booed off by a large proportion of a 70,000-plus crowd. Amad Diallo was pictured giving an obscene gesture to fans, there was speculation and tension around Alejandro Garnacho's future, and we were able to gain access to several press conferences and interviews.

With all of this in mind, we feel this brought value to audiences, but we recognise you may continue to disagree.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We’ve discussed your concerns with the team at BBC Sport, which helps inform decisions about current and future content.

If you’d like to understand how your complaint is handled at the BBC, you might find it helpful to watch the short film on the BBC Complaints website about how the BBC responds to your feedback. It explains the BBC’s process for responding to complaints, what to do if you aren’t happy with your response and how we share the feedback we receive.

Wishing you all the best,
