It's almost like the club have been pounding fuck out of the self-destruction button since Webb/Pisscan/Gill realised they were close to being arrested and decided to quit.
The sheer spine-crumbling amount of money they have thrown at mid-table dross is truly alarming. Look at their squad, most of them would struggle to get on the bench of a Championship side. But then again the rags would actually be a Championship side had it not been for the truly staggering amount of controversial decisions that have gone in their favour over the past 3 or 4 decades.

Interesting article on BBC. I’ve put a snippet of the article below, the bit I’ve put in bold made me laugh.

More scrutiny on Wilcox means more scrutiny placed on the merits of Manchester United hiring so many staff who have worked at Manchester City.

Wilcox spent 10 years at City, rising to become academy director, before taking over as technical director at Southampton in January 2023.

He oversaw the appointment of Stephen Torpey as academy director in September.

Torpey arrived from Brentford after spending nine years at City.

Alan Wright, set to be on the first-team bench against Burnley on Wednesday to help out interim boss Darren Fletcher, joined United in the autumn as a senior academy coach for the Under-18 to Under-21 age groups. He spent 10 years working with City's Under-16s.

Berrada was chief football operations officer at City before his move to United.

"It's unbelievable," legendary Class of '92 member and former United head of academy Nicky Butt told the Times in an interview in October.

"Every City staff member goes to Man Utd now. Real Madrid wouldn't do it with Barcelona or vice versa."

I say this every time, because I'm convinced the odds are they'll get something right eventually if they keep throwing money and new people at the problem, but Southgate could give them a culture change like he did with England, and that would probably set up the next guy to do better.

Solskjaer did pretty well just by being a positive vibes guy and getting the players to enjoy it a bit. Better than a lot of well respected trophy winning managers.
They've had countless players come and go and god knows how many managers - some top drawer - since piss can left. And all have failed. That must mean the issue is not the players nor the manager. The problem they have is the entire club is toxic, rotten from top to bottom. Until that changes, they will remain exactly how they have been for the past 12 years: Broken.

That club is the gift that keeps on giving.
Ex pros like Neville, Ferdinand and Rooney tell them they need to get someone in that knows the Nited way, the DNA of the swamp, blah, blah, blah
So rather than try and get best in class, they do exactly that.
Held talks with Ole, Carrick and Fletcher.
They are in an absolute mess, make no mistake about that.
Read it and weep.

"DNA" seems to be playing a 4-4-2 which would get found out almost immediately in this era. And attacking? Or something?

Keane would be an interesting one. He hates the pisscan so it might offer them a way to shake the old duffer off. Ultimately though he may give them a bit is a short term bounce but there’s nothing to suggest from his managerial career that he has what they need. Plus the fact why have all the stress when you are coining it in by being a grumpy old man every week on Sky?

They all still live in 1999.
Noel Gallagher on talkshite yesterday summed the red mardarses up saying Neville and quacker face need to stop gobbing off about it not being the utd way and it's not their DNA to play 3 at the back.
They are all living on past glories and think that they can flick a switch and it's back to when taggart was in charge.

Agent Berrada and Agent Wilcox are doing a grand job, just get Maresca in to take the fuckers down and it's job done.
