Not sure if posted already, but just seen this online, apparently from Gabby Agbonlahor...

"Gary Neville has said that Manchester United have got to appoint a manager that fits the DNA of their club. So this got me wondering… what is Manchester United’s DNA?”

It’s hiring former players to cover up the mess at the club and calling it “returning to our DNA”.

It's the 'nited way though, innit!

Get rid; re-buy. Like with Pogba! £10M pay off when Ole wasn't good enough to manage them, so, he's must to get the interim job. Mind you, when he failed last time, I think he had better players at his disposal. 2 games before the end for him in Nov 21 he lost a home derby to City 2-0 and his team was:-

De Gea
Bailly
Lindelof
Maguire
Shaw
Wan Bissaka
Mctominay
Fernandes
Fred
Greenwood
Ronaldo

Only Shaw, Maguire and Fernandes of those starters are left, and only Dalot from the subs list. Presumably, the rest didn't have 'nited DNA so they got sold.

Must be time for McTominay to return for, what, £75M? Greenwood; £50M?

It's the 'nited way, innit?!

They’ve only ever had two very good managers in Ferguson and Busby. They’ve successfully recruited a manager that can win the league 3 occasions in the club’s entire 100 odd year history. So Neville going on about a manager that matches the club’s dna what exactly is that? Ferguson could outspend every other manager in the 90s and Busby was a City player.

Totally agree, but it often (in this PL obsessed era) gets forgotten that Ferguson also outspent everyone in the second half of the 80s too.
