I was there in 74, as a 14 year old, in the Scoreboard paddock with my dad. All out war in there. We were always beating them then too.
I was working in Italy in 89 and watched it live on tv in a bar just outside Milan and couldn’t believe what I was watching. The locals fully understood me going mental and bought me drinks all night.
These days were a long time coming, and it has been well worth the wait now
Mrs Vienna was there in 1974; she grew up in Stretford, not far from the swamp, and she said it was bloody scary at times.

I was 11, watching with delight at my grandparents' and loving Gerald Sinstadt's (I think) report or the unfolding events.

Just read somewhere that "The World's Greatest Club"™ has, since the beginning of November, dropped points against all of the current bottom 6. It looked like bullshit to me, so I just checked (sad, I know). It's true! Draws against Forest, West Ham, Bournemouth, Wolves, L***s and Burnley.

Regarding the derby.
If we win, the chances of them winning the league go from highly unlikely to practically impossible.
Should they lose their next game after that then it does become impossible.
