They insist on referring to them as a top 4 club and using their full name. That imbecile Clinton Morrison was falling over himself yesterday to tell us “they will always be the biggest club in the world”.

The fact they still obsess to this extent, over what has been a midtable club for over a decade, confirms there simply has to be some kind of clause in their contract that says they have to do so. They have to keep them “big”.

At what point does this ever stop? It’s like there being a bird who 20 years ago was a 10/10 but now she’s 8 stone overweight, had 13 kids, her tits are round her knees, her teeth have fallen out and her fanny has prolapsed, yet they’re still reveering her as some absolute doll and telling everyone else she’s still a goddess.

It’s mental.
