People seem to think that gives them an advantage, not me.
Footballers have long said they prefer midweek matches as there is less training plus, they've got a month of listening to Carrick on the training ground. After day 2 the seasoned Pro's are going to realise the bloke doesn't have a clue and by week 2 the youngsters will be pissed off as they keep losing to the cones.

Whats the chances Rags get Port Vale or Southampton at the swamp in tomorrow's night draw.
They already got Grimsby away in the league cup and a home tie against a struggling Brighton in the FA cup.
About as much chance as there is of Lord Lucan turning up at our quarterfinal tie, riding Shergar.

It's certainly helped them in pushing for champions league

I don't mind seeing them in the champions league. They always make an absolute arse of themselves when they're in the champions league in recent times. Always highly entertaining stuff.

Don't get me wrong, I much preferred when they were 15th.
115th you say......
