With the ever-dwindling plastics in my circle this is the one that seems to hurt them the most. Pointing out to them that they don't actually come from Manchester and that they stole their name from a rugby club really irks them. They are clearly offended by this and will do anything to try and justify the name change.

And when I say 'ever-dwindling,' I mean it. Years ago you couldn't walk along the road without bumping into yet another plastic rag with his club shop merchandise, proudly grinning at everyone with his new and shiny rag top. Nowadays you might see a plastic once a week - if you're unlucky.

I don’t like to pat myself on the back but I absolutely annihilated a Rag at work this past week, it was glorious. He claimed they were formed first and were therefore “originals”.

I went into a full Rafa Benitez “facts” rant in front of everyone. There’s a Utd fan who doesn’t really care about them and supports Chorley more, who even agreed I’d done him.

I pointed out they have chosen the earliest date possible for their foundation of 1878 which is false, ignored the fact that in 1902 their founders were adamant “Manchester Utd” was a new entity, that the move to call themselves Manchester was stolen from us, 8 years after we had become Manchester’s club. That their nickname was stolen from Salford Rugby, that their “glory glory Man Utd” chant was stolen from Spurs. That their crap “flag flying high” chant was stolen from Chelsea. That their first circular badge was stolen from Liverpool.

That they moved out of Manchester in 1910 and their only period playing back in the city was borrowing our ground. That their more recent obsession with linking The Stone Roses to the club, is because City had already done it with Oasis.

I finished by saying the only original thing about you is you became the biggest set of cunts in world football. He just looked dumbfounded.

It was in my top 5 career moments and was fuck all to do with work.

Utd fans and the utd media are assuming they are already getting CL football next season. They really do think it's all coming back on track.

They got some very tough fixtures this season and I would more assume Chelsea and Liverpool will have more of a say than utd.

Thought he was a Fine footballer whose game was based on touch and compusure,operating deep centre midfield. I liked his style.and he never slagged off City,no cheap comments,good professional,quiet,did his job..

Really hope they sack him and get some big name in,or some past name wrapped up in all their history ..so I can go back to hating the manager ..as well as all the players,the club,the ground,the team strip home and away,and everything else associated with this Circus of a football club.

Brazil is a desperate alcoholic. But the media love playing up his antics just as they did with Gazza and George Best. Oh how they laughed. But it’s all very sad really. I’m sure his wife and daughters see things differently.
