Three places above the relegation zone last season, 3rd in this.

If that's not a 'VAR/PiGMOL assistance' corruption argument, I don't know what is.
Also, it's been (IMO) an incredibly underwhelming PL season. A lot of mediocre teams in it. The "set piece is king" campaign; mainly thanks to the Tarqs. It won't be remembered with any great fondness outside of Islington. A lot of the supposed top teams have been very inconsistent, meaning that when the rags finally landed on a manager/coach who might have some idea of what he's doing, it hasn't been that difficult for them to climb the table. And yes; they have received favourable treatment from referees/VAR.

Watched their game yesterday.

The obvious difference between them and us at the moment is that they move the ball much quicker and break forward with much more purpose than we do.

Not a great feeling that they're creeping up on us, but still have faith we'll get another few wins.

Oh they sit back then like a small team or is it a end to end game!

The very fact Utd are on our heels just shows we have some serious issues. Man for man our players are better but as a team & energy they are better than us right now.

They are clearly fighting for carrick who’s keeping football simple for them.

Our players look confused & not fighting

Do other teams park the bus v them, like W Ham did against us?

I don't know, cos I refuse to watch them

Rags are the unflushable turds of the PL.

They have to get CL football this year or try are financially fucked and Mr Webb as usual has assisted them greatly as usual.

Carwreck is savvy enough to leave before they turn on him and he'll be replaced by someone even Spurs might think are we sure about this?

As sure as night follows day, the next Rag wonder kid is the fifth most important story on the Beeb website.
He will be at Sunderland or Stockport by 2030.

It’s a joke now. There must be many “wonder kids” in every PL team but only one club has the real one :-) :-). :-)
