While hair pulling is not specifically mentioned in the Laws of the Game, it is categorised as 'violent conduct' because it cannot be considered as something you would legitimately do when challenging for the ball.

However head butting is clearly something legitimately done

Slight uncertain rather than no fucking chance.

Still while 'the dream is alive' I'm sure there's a bit of money to be made by Coe & others.

It was against Hartlepool in an FA Cup 3rd round tie. The player he nutted was called George Potter, who ended up in Withington Hospital. I think Dennis actually knew him from the North-East, and visited his bedside to apologise.
City won 6-0 / 3rd January 1976.
