United-no Vidic(£7m), Carrick(£18.6m), that would make it £258.45m vs. £284.6m(£7m for AJ), so a difference of £26.15m, that's less than Sneijder or Modric that they want, or Van Nistelrooy, Veron etc.
They looked a hell of a lot more than 1 player short yesterday.
