and so it came to pass..... Manchester United fell
Anyone have any music that they believe is unique to them and their circumstances?

I stumbled across a song that I thought was classic, bought the vynil but have sadly lost it since.

Anyone else heard the song "Hiroshima" by Wishful Thinking?

Would be interested if others have any non-mainstream music they think is worth sharing?

What do you think?

Only band I heard and liked that never really made it to a label were Fake Gimms...

Not amazing I know, but compared to bands here would of been worth a look on a winters night in Night n Day or Roadhouse. Band member left this year it says on myspace. Oh well nevermind.

Little Dragon http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RniiekRdbZg&feature=related i don't know how to describe.

Riverside http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=CYr9UQKJvg4&feature=related a Polish Prog Rock band.

The Amber Light http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=RniiekRdbZg&feature=related a pretty obscure German indie? band.

But then again everybody slags me off for my music taste, so you you should probably ignore anything i like.

Little Dragon and The Amber Light are the same link?

the second is more recent, i saw them in a small venue in dublin last week before i saw muse

a plastic rose - bit more punky, great melodic sound!!!

Tygers of Pan Tang ... still rolling (although they were dormant for a decade or more)

Their guitarist John Sykes went on to Whitesnake and now, improbably, fronts the reincarnation of Thin Lizzy.

A band I've liked for three years or so is Komakino, they got their name from a Joy Division song. They sound a bit like early Bloc Party, perhaps a little poppier.

Recently they changed their name, they're now called You Animals

About 2 years ago they were being tipped for big things, NME called them "brit-rock's best new band" and they got a few decent support slots, most notably Bloc Party, The Cooper Temple Clause and Razorlight. I first saw them supporting a band called Dogs, who are also a decent band. From London, very Jam-esque. Since then I've seen Komakino/You Animals a further 3 times.
