Unlikely City fans

Way before then I'd imagine mate, are you thinking of the 92-93 season when indeed it did kick off. We were in a pub when pool balls and other equipment started getting launched from one side to the other, I think that was just the start.
It was round about that time, it was so hot my mate turned up in a vest with a surfers print on it, every time he stood up on the coach everyone started to “sing” the Hawaii 50 tune. When we got back a lad in the pub had been with his mates and they’d been attacked walking back to their car, his face was a right mess, heard a few stories about it kicking off that day.
 
Seem to remember Alan Rickman has been mentioned in the past, no idea if true.

Yeah he was a big blue. He introduced himself to me in 2000 when he was signing into a hotel near Stratford Upon Avon and I came in to the same hotel for an after work social wearing my City top.
