Unlikely City fans

I think this thread has veered off topic slightly. It's supposed to be unlikely blues...

Some one said Johnny Marr. He's from Wythenshawe, who else would he support ?

Howard Davies is pretty loyal. I was talking to him outside Ewood Park when we played there in the FA Cup a few seasons ago. He'd come up from London with his son but without tickets.

Stapleton is/was on Superbia, so of course goes all the time now, but not so noticeable 10/15 year ago, like 2/3rds of regular away goers now.
 
Rory McIlroy's dad is a blue. He's not famous, but being from Northern Ireland and having a son that supports United makes him a pretty unlikely City fan.

Aaron Rodgers the Green Bay quarterback started supporting us because he liked our kit on FIFA and now watches our games regularly.

Clive Myrie from BBC news is a blue and finds it quite hard to maintain BBC levels of impartiality at times ;-)

He wanted his two lads to be centre forwards for City. I think he chose City for the underdog image we had in those days, when Ryanair was getting pissed on by the likes of AerLingus, BA and Virgin.
