The existence of North Manchester should not be acknowledged

Where is it? I keep trying to find it but always end up in shitholes like Salford,Bury,Rochdale and Oldham. I've not found a bit worthy of the Manchester name. And don't say Prestwich, because it's only alright at best.

What do you think about Bradford/Beswick?

By the way Are Oldham , Rochdale , Bury or Salford in Manchester? NO

the whole of manchester is just wonderful.

and it's surrounding area's, well apart from some shit hole part of trafford.

iran should nuke isreal.

All the unlawfull settlements built in the west bank should be turned over to the palestinians

The Etihad is practically due East of the City centre. The centre of Beswick (the precinct) is south of the stadium. Is this North Manchester?

I know Salford, Oldham, Rochdale and Bury aren't in Manchester, but they are 4 of the areas of Greater Manchester (3 boroughs and a city).

One day I'd like to see the mythical land of North Manchester that people are so proud of.

Here you go, I looked on Google for you. I hope it's not so much of a myth for you any more.

How can Area 11/City Centre be in North Manchester, rather than Central? Still, it puts more weight behind the argument that North Manchester is proper Manchester!

It is a bit weird that one, it has Didsbury in Central as well. I'd probably put the City Centre right down to Moss Side and maybe Rusholme as Central and anything below that as South.

Cheers GSC. This is interesting now, i obviously meant my previous couple of posts as a joke, but now i'm actually intrigued. It'd never occurred to me that the borough was divided like that. So Chorlton and Didsbury are central Manchester. I suspect the vast majority of people living there would class themselves as 'south Manchester'. The accent debate has a whole new spin.

The centre of Manchester is next to St Anne's church, there's a cross on the floor, an actual X marks the spot, and yet that's classed as North Manchester.
