I think he’d be in my all time (after 30 years I reckon it finally means something) PL XI. Him or Vieira as the fulcrum of the midfield.

Strength, determination, deceptively skilful, huge will to win, mentally strong, dominated so many games, economic use of the ball, leader, brave (this will be controversial!) scored plenty of (important) goals, big game player.
