I'm shit at maths, but it doesn't take genius to work out where a large undeserving chunk of it is going..That's not taking into account running costs, overheads and salaries of lower staff while those at the coal face of the enterprise get fuck all because they do it out of the kindness of their hearts while the upper echelons get paid thousands for having 5 star lunches, travel and stay, just for formulating ways of putting all of us on a guilt trip...
The fucking ridiculous mass virtue signal a few years back, "the ice bucket challenge" opened my eyes to the whole slimy industry.
To put it into perspective...If you took three quid off everyone at a full Etihad, you still wouldn't cover the CEO 's salary...It would take months to collect the wages of the rest in that list at three quid a pop...Let that sink in...and that's just one top charity picked at random..

I’d probably describe myself as just to the left of centre with some right-wing views these days. Whereas when I was 18 I was probably just to the right of being a socialist. I’d maybe even describe myself as apolitical or someone who lies somewhere along every point of the political spectrum depending on the point being talked about.

I’ve pretty much been in that scenario myself, and it’s horrific, but there’s absolutely no need to draw unfavourable comparisons with nurses, who have to deal with all sorts of horrible shit for fuck all money. It’s not a competition.

Read the thread title,it’s up to them,in the private sector if you don’t like your job you fucking change it. Why do you think there are 50000 vacancies , it’s poorly paid and a shit job. You’ve chosen your career and would obviously not work in their conditions
