Hope to God you have just made this up. Upson is no better than Lescott and, really I feel that Toure and Lescott should be given a chance to work with each other until the summer...under this new management you never know, they could establish a good partnership.
We only really need to get an experienced, solid, Mancini type player and of course, Ivan Cordoba fits into that bracket.
Even with our riches, I don't like paying over the odds for players we don't really need.

Even if we don't bring a defender in the January transfer window we'll still have Onuoha, Richards, Kompany as back up for a month, it won't be the end of the world but, just in case of potential injuries it would be wise to bring one in.
