Exactly how I feel. What we're feeling at the moment is a month or two of disappointment with City's league form. We might not win the league. The bigger picture, however, is the chance to have seen it all and won the lot in just six days' time. In a lifetime of supporting City, this is big. If someone had said in mid-2008 that we'd one day be English, European and World Champions all at the same time then we'd have laughed. The CWC is not the biggest tournament by any stretch and we all know it. But it is the final frontier.

If they were the same standard but English teams according to Opta

City would be well…City!
Fluminense would be Leeds United
Al Ahly would be West Brom
Red Diamonds would be Preston

So all top half of the Championship

The best team in the World outside Europe would be Crystal Palace level.

Big favourites but not a given in a one off knock out situation.

In 2025 it will be City Bayern Real Madrid Inter standard.
